Bringing Escher's work into 3-d kind of kills the illusory quality of the tilted perspectives, but it is still totally cool.

That is pretty cool. Love it when people do stuff like that, cause I sure don't have the time, or a high enough nerd factor!
The Blacker interhouse that I remember best was Noah's ark. They built an ark, flooded the court yard and built a huge papier mache cow that had beer taps in its udder. Among other things. So cool. Too bad I won't be there to see it.
