The debate continues

Dean posts the questions posed by Dr. Harvey Bialy in a recent conversation.

Now, I don't believe in answering a question with a question unless you're asking for clarification, so I'm not entirely thrilled with the quality of Dr. Bialy's response.

Just a reminder that my position is this: while HIV infection may not cause all cases of AIDS, and not all HIV infections will lead to the development of AIDS symptoms, neither of these statements means that NO cases of AIDS are due to HIV. That is, the hypothesis HIV --> AIDS (HIV leads to AIDS) is not logically disproved.

My responses to Dr. Bialy's questions can be found in the comments.
